That Way!
This is a free iPhone app.

This is an unofficial app for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. It is designed to help you easily find the pavilions you want to visit.
For example, if you are at the East Gate and tap the 🅿️ button, all pavilions will be listed in order of proximity, along with directional and distance information. Just like a compass, the direction indicator rotates with your iPhone’s orientation, always pointing toward each pavilion.

(Distance units automatically switch between km and mi based on your region.)
This screen is displayed without using any internet connection. It works entirely with your location data and the app’s internal database, so it is completely unaffected by network issues.
Let’s try finding the USA Pavilion. You could scroll through this screen to find it, but with so many pavilions, that would be a bit of a hassle. So first, tap the 📖 button.

The submenu has appeared.
Next, tap the “U” button, and you’ll find it sixth from the top.

From the East Gate, it shows a 6-minute walk.
You can reach the pavilion just by walking in the direction of the arrow—the distance on screen will decrease as you get closer.
But just to be sure, let’s check the map.
Tap the [Map] button next to “United States” in the list.

The map has appeared, but the view is a bit narrow.
Please tap the button in the top-left corner to display it in full screen.

If rotation mode is enabled, the map’s orientation will match the real-world direction.
Rotate your iPhone so that both the blue circle (🔵) and red circle (🔴) appear on the screen.
If rotation mode is not enabled, tap the button in the top-right corner to activate it.
You can also zoom in on the map using two fingers—try to make it as large as possible for easier viewing.

The blue circle (🔵) represents your current location, and the red circle (🔴) represents your destination. The red circle (🔴) is placed near the entrance, not the center of the building, making it easier to locate the waiting line.
Walk in the direction indicated by the arrow at the top of the screen, and the blue circle (🔵) will gradually move closer to the red circle (🔴).
When the two circles overlap, you’ve arrived at your destination.
