Q&A
1. My current location is not shown correctly
GPS signals may not reach inside buildings, underground areas, or tunnels, making it difficult to determine your location accurately.
Also, please ensure that your iPhone has granted location access to this app:
Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > That Way Walk Lite: Expo 2025
→ Select “While Using the App”.
2. Local search is not working
An internet connection is required for local search.
However, if you register your “Favorite List” in advance while connected to Wi-Fi, you can later use the app offline to see the direction and distance (note: maps and websites will not display).
This app uses Apple’s system for local search, which is generally reliable but may not return nearby results in some cases.
3. Direction to destination is incorrect
Magnetic interference can affect your iPhone’s compass.
It may occur indoors (from electronics), in vehicles (due to motors), or from magnetic phone cases.
If magnetic interference seems unlikely, try restarting your iPhone to resolve the issue.
4. Searchlight Map looks strange
Tap the ⚙️ button on the map screen to reveal sliders.
Adjust them to fine-tune the map display.
5. Distance is different from other apps
This app shows straight-line distance, not walking or road distance.
Estimated walking time is based on a slow pace of 3.5 km/h in a direct line.
